Review Comment:
This is already covered. `__init__` raises a `ValueError` immediately when a
bare string is passed for `transient_error_codes` (with a hint to wrap it in a
list), and `_validate_inputs()` raises on `max_retries < 0` and
`bulk_retry_delay < 0`. All three cases have corresponding tests in
`test_bulk_retry.py` that assert the ValueError message.

Review Comment:
There is no `import pytest` in the current version of the file — it was
never included in the committed code. This comment appears to reference an
earlier diff.

Review Comment:
The variable is not unused — the very next line asserts against it: `assert
retry_call == mock.call(mock.ANY, [{"FirstName": "Ada"}])`. There is no `_,
retry_call = ...` tuple unpacking in the current file either; it is a plain
assignment. This comment appears to reference an earlier diff.

Review Comment:
Fair point in general, but `create_autospec` on `simple_salesforce`'s bulk
objects requires the library to be importable and fully introspectable in the
test environment, which is not guaranteed for an optional provider dependency.
Using plain `MagicMock` keeps the tests self-contained. The assertions
themselves — checking `call_count`, `assert_called_once_with`, and the
structure of the returned list — are specific enough to catch real regressions
without needing spec enforcement on the mock.
