Hello folks, sorry I missed the discussion but I've been away for the last
week.
It was indeed deprecated in core but not in the providers, they will happily
still work with older 2.X versions of Airflow, which is why there is no
deprecation notice in the providers (there no code changes there). But you're
right a note of some kind would be helpful (there is also one on the Airflow 2
to 3 migration docs for what it's worth)
