Interesting. It looks like you've deployed an existing virtual machine and are verifying against that.
The error is: "Permission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,password)." So here's where I would look: 1. Does your VM allow root logins? Run "ssh [email protected]" from the CLI. Fix /etc/ssh/sshd_config if not ... especially "PermitRootLogin yes" line. 2. Does your VM allow password auth. Again try the same thing, but look at the "PasswordAuthentication" setting. 3. By default Cockpit uses a password "foobar". Does that password work with root logins?
