Many people, it seems to me, after searching the net for: "gnutls_handshake failed: A TLS fatal alert has been received". Tried now again to connect to my CentOS8 host, with: cockpit-196.3-1.el8.x86_64 gnutls-3.6.8-8.el8.x86_64 from both firefox 68.8.0esr (part of my OS, RHEL8) and 76.0.1, and didn't reproduce - both worked as expected (warning page about self-signed cert etc., accepted the risk, got main screen). Please provide more details.
