It looks like you have subscription-manager installed on your Fedora system? If
you run this command in a terminal:

    busctl call com.redhat.SubscriptionManager /EntitlementStatus 
com.redhat.SubscriptionManager.EntitlementStatus check_status

what does it say?

I suppose Updates need to handle the case that subscription-manager is
installed on a non-RHEL machine where the concept of subscriptions don't exist.
I'm primarily interested in which error/status code this gives.
