Hello I am about to install a planar 5S diesel hydronic heater in our C&C 34+ and would appreciate some advice on what to use for a balance/header tank.
I plan on running about 40 ft of 3/4 pex so that works out roughly to 3.5 litres of glycol in the system. I expect the expansion to be less tha 1/2 litre. I think the expansion from 20C to 90 Celsius is about Prices for balance/header tanks that could meet the job range from $50 to $426. This is my first time with a hydronic system so I want to be safe but also do not want to spend $500 when 100 will do fine. Please give me your experience on what will work best for my system. A model and make would be great.
