This past weekend was the Gulfport to Pensacola Race, a 100 NM offshore sailboat race. Active list member Dennis C sailed Touche’, a C&C 35 mk1, over 100 NM in under 13 hrs to win 1st place in his class.
What makes this even more spectacular is the fact that at 40 NM before the finish, Touche’ suffered a total failure of the back stay adjuster.
