Trevor, There is an enormous amount of literature out there on the Web, from analysts, about products and trends (AIIM, Gartner, Forrester, Meta, Giga etc.).
Sticking to the more practical literature though, a few books that I would recommend, which I think are probably the ones most people have read: - Bob Boiko, The Content Management Bible Audience: analysts, technical architect, developer - JoAnn T. Hackos, Content Management for Dynamic Web Delivery Audience: project managers, analysts, technical architect (both of the above contain bits that can be adapted for the other audiences you list) - Gerry McGovern and Rob Norton, Content Critical Audience: authors, editors, designers Then of course there is all the usability literature: Steve Krugg, Don Norman, Jacob Nielsen etc. which is partially relevant. I know there are lots more that I haven't read, some by people that are regulars on this list. Will get round to it soon ; ) Jason > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:cms-list-admin@;cms-list.org]On > Behalf Of Trevor Gosbell > Sent: 05 November 2002 03:19 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [cms-list] Essential Readings > > > For any CMS implementation there are a number of 'audiences' or > stakeholder groups that need to be informed about (and often sold on) > the idea of content management.
