Ah, that's where we hit a bump each time.  I don't know of any CMS
that allows the user to upload ONE file, converts it into MULTIPLE
files (separate text and graphics, at least) in a different format and
then treats those multiple files as one single entity.  I couldn't
make out from your site, does Sitellite permit that?
Sitellite uses import and export handlers, so when you need a custom handler Sitellite will take care of the upload and all that then provides an API for doing whatever you want to with the contents of that file. If you can find a word doc parser that returns inline images as separate entities within the parsed data structure, then you could separate them from the text very easily with Sitellite.
