The best I can think of is the directory property
ADDITIONAL_MAKE_CLEAN_FILES:
https://cmake.org/cmake/help/latest/prop_dir/ADDITIONAL_MAKE_CLEAN_FILES.html

You can set it to a list of files which will be removed as part of running
`make clean` or its equivalent for other generators.
