Anyway, long story short: I'm fairly certain that its currently not possible to build cmake projects with visual studio express 2012 on windows 7.
Use CMake 2.8.11 and it will work, there seems to be a fix in there. Had to use the VS2011 generator but it works. Test in a Windows 7 x64 virtual machine with CMake 2.8.11 and Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows desktop.
