Hi cmake mailing list !

When i cross compile with autotools, i used to do
 $ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local ...
 $ make install DESTDIR=${SYSROOT}

Now, with cmake i do
 $ cmake source_dir -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local ...
 $ make install DESTDIR=${SYSROOT}

Is it a good practice ?
What is the right way for doing a compilation for a foreign (embedded)
filesystem ?

Thank for your help.

Paul.
