Hi All !

The Light Table Open Source team is proud to finally release Light Table
version 0.8.0. We'd like to give a huge thanks to all contributors to this
milestone release. The alpha release has been out for 1.5 months now.
A few bugs have been reported, but in general the shift from Node Webkit to
Electron has worked out pretty well.

Since the alpha release we have;
* Fixed some bugs and closed a whole bunch that aren't applicable any more
* Made some minor improvements
* Upgraded to a newer version of Electron
* Greatly improved the documentation
** Gabriel has made a great start on creating API documentation for core
namespaces in LT
** The wiki has also been improved
* We've also decided to drop support for 32bit build of Linux, but if someone
is willing to step up and take responsibility for building and QA'ing
32 bit linux builds, we're of course willing to reconsider. (Everyone can still
build from source, which is quite easy)

Going forward:
For the next milestone release of Light Table our focus will turn towards two
main areas. A long overdue upgrade of the ClojueScript version
used by Light Table and upgrading to a recent version of CodeMirror. A
ClojureScript upgrade will open up a host of new avenues for improving the core,
but more importantly enable development of even more awesome plugins.

cheers
The LightTable Team
(Garbriel, Magnus and Kenny)
