I am following the instructions here

to install clojure mode on emacs... I am new to both emac and clojure.
I am getting this error
Wrong type argument: sequencep, quote
Here is my init.el
(require 'package)
(add-to-list 'package-archives
'("marmalade" . "http://marmalade-repo.org/packages/";) t)
(package-initialize)
i am using emacs GNU Emacs 24.2.1 (x86_64-apple-darwin11.4.2) of 2012-11-20
on tenseven-slave.ma\
cports.org
on osX 10.7
Whats wrong with my init.el script?
