I've moved the codebase to the Eclipse Public License as of SVN 1160: http://opensource.org/licenses/eclipse-1.0.php
EPL is the successor to CPL, and acceptable to Google Code and others. It allows all the same usages as did CPL, is commercial friendly etc. Contrib should move over ASAP.
