I have and it works perfectly. I'm using a Sun E-250 with six internal disks, no raid on the data disks. Traffic is around 75,000 messages/day. I use pre-filtering to disqualify dangerous file types (.doc, .pif, .scr etc) and the load level is very acceptable.
