This looks like a packaging error. In current TeXLive SVN repository,
uwmjc7.tfm (and uwmjc7.vf) exists, and apparently it is missing in
Ubuntu jaunty. You should report this to the Ubuntu package
maintainers.

Hmm. Perhaps you are still a package missing.
