My orgnaization has a check to confirm that our systems are running a time service. That check is using "chronyc sources" to evt aluate the FQDN output for server names.
>From what I can see if the FQDN is too long, the name gets truncated with a ">" after the portion that can be shown. It appears that "chronyc tracking" shows the entire FQDN as part of the "Reference ID" output.
