Chase
- Added tab switch paint histogram.
- Found a deeper problem on xp perf bots, working with Nicolas to
resolve.
- Will have tab-switching test results this week.
John
- Moved launching of renderer process off UI thread.
- On POSIX, up to 2s of sleep when killing off renderer process.
- Change going out today.
- Will work on moving creation of other types of processes off UI
thread.
Carlos
- Built PGO built on a bot with 24GB!
- Not measuring any improvement. Training set was opening a bunch of
pages (10MB).
- Results about PGO's efficacy are inconclusive.
- Using time of UI test runs...still investigating a better measurement
and better training sets.
Evan
- Landed patch to move spellchecker to renderer on Windows, wrote it on
Mac.
- Caused reliability regressions, memory corruption.
- Posting Task when creating spellcheck host. Investigating now.
Tony
- Tracking down crashers for Mstone 4.
