Reviewers have spent a LOT of effort on it, so to try to do an end-run like this is a little disrespectful TBH, but more importantly, when we have the 'right' thing mostly ready, and enough distance from the release, I think working harder on THAT is the right answer. Any temporary solution is just the wrong thing.
