ruiu added a comment. As you can see, lld doesn't really have any host-dependent knowledge so far, even though there are a few OSes that use lld as the default linker. We've added host-dependent knowledge to the compiler driver instead of to the linker for various operating systems. I guess that we could do the same thing for NetBSD, no?
