IMHO not even.
CFMX is full of such undocumented and useless features.
Since IIS is passing an HTTP request to CF, why should CF also have a list of 
extensions it will accept?
Kind of capricious.
But I agree that if it really has to be so, then it should be handled by the CF 
Administrator.
