It's crazier than you think. 4.2 BSD doesn't run on the PDP-11. But I can get 4.whatever running on an emulated VAX or 2.11 BSD running on an emulated PDP-11 of my choice (I usually do 11/44 cause I had some and really liked them) for free. bill
