[castor-dev] In FieldHandler is there a way to over-ride the getValue, setValu e method call?

I have implemented a customField Handler. Castor by default uses the
getValue and setValue methods to get and set value.
Can I over-ride this? I tried setting the Field attributes get-method and
set-method, but did not see it invoke these methods even though it did not
error out.
