Hi All, At the 2018 workshop, one idea raised was to offer semi-regular CASPER "office hours", where CASPER developers would be available to meet with members of the community over skype to offer real-time troubleshooting of problems, or advice/discussion about their projects. The intention of this service would be to make sure that there aren't CASPER newcomers (or even seasoned CASPERites!) suffering in silence about issues they're having, and to provide a forum for one-on-one discussion out of the sometimes daunting public-eye of the mailist.
It's unclear to what extent those in the community would be interested in these Office Hours, but I figured the best way to find out was to offer this support and see what happens. To this end, I created a google form inviting any CASPERites interested in meeting remotely to get in touch -- https://goo.gl/forms/5bXpwPftQ1EX6IQr1 . If you have something you want to talk about, or help with a particular issue you're struggling to overcome please use the form to let us know. (If you want to get in touch to talk about becoming a developer yourself, that would obviously also be very welcome!). My vague intention is to set aside a Friday every few weeks to meet with anyone who fills out the form - but depending on the level of interest and the timezones of those involved this might change in future.
