I’m currently learning CAS using the available examples. While trying -json-service-registry / yaml , I frequently encounter the following exception, and ./gradlew run fails.
What went wrong: A problem occurred evaluating root project 'cas'. Could not find method implementation() for arguments [org.apereo.cas:cas-server-support-json-service-registry] on object of type org.gradle.api.internal.artifacts.dsl.dependencies.DefaultDependencyHandler. My configurations: CAS Version: 7.1.0 CAS Branch: 7.1.x CAS Commit Id: 0b4ab2a2f3d1502e707b8d28db2d93148d128dcb CAS Build Date/Time: 2024-09-06T05:26:20.864173Z Java Vendor: Amazon.com Inc. Java Version: 21.0.2 I’ve also tried other CAS versions but encountered the same exceptions.
