should be I noticed that the spring boot version in the gradle.properties file for both cas and cas-management has changed to 2.7.2, from 2.6.3 by default when using initializr. If I flip back to 2.6.3 and rebuild, things behave better. I still have issues, but i'm assuming that's my bad at the moment.
