Hello together,

I hope, the developer list is the correct list to ask about a feature for the
callweaver.

I am a member in the german red cross and active in the radio communication
group of our section.
We had the problem, that we want to use at 3 workplaces several radio devices.
So the idea, I had is, that over callweaver we share this radio devices.

I describe my idea detailed:
If a user at a workplace want to talk over a radio device, he opens a
connection. On a open connection the callwaver-server sends all incomming audio
to the workplace. If the user want to talk, the workplace client sets a status,
and the callweaver-server pusches the push-to-talk button (e.g. by setting a
status line on a defined serial port) and output the sound.
A radio device only works with mono data, so at one sound device two radio
device could be connected.
After the user had spoken, he delete the push-to-talk-button, and if the
conversation is over, he releases the connection, so another user can connect
to this radio device.

Is this possible to realize with callweaver?

If this is possible, I can do some programming work on this Issue, this would
be my first programming project in the depth of linux.

With best regards
