I have applied it in the 1.2 branch and fixed the naming clashes so it compiles. However I don't know if it's safe. Does the code in the 4673 change set depend on any other functional changes in the trunk? Or will it run fine from inside 1.2?
If it does not depend on any other changes, should I open a bug and attach the patch?
