Hi Ken, Awesome. I see you put a lot of effort into that. I am commenting on Kexi icon only. It's (by accident?) the most simplified of the icons, and I love this fact.
Can we have a VDG forum thread? PS: A follow up would be one thing, a pro artist made a Kexi logo (not an icon) for me based on about 1 year long process. I'd like you to see if the VDG wizards would like to comment and maybe refine it. It's not public until I'll ask. The icon can become visually related to the logo or not. It almost is in terms of colour palette at least.
