Hi! Pre-Alpha edition of Kexi 3.0 runs nicely already! Its tabular view works out of the box thanks a new business apps-oriented KDb framework.
http://kexi-project.org/pics/3.0/kexi-3.0-pre-alpha.png As you see on the picture Kexi 3.0 uses KDE Frameworks 5. And you guessed it -- there's Qt (5.4) under the mask with enough horsepower... More compact, faster, closer to mobile devices. The road to this port: https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/calligra-devel/2015-June/014267.html More info, aimed at devs: https://blogs.kde.org/2015/06/23/kexi-3 If you want to build, I updated https://community.kde.org/Calligra/Building/3#Build_Requirements Also the https://community.kde.org/KDb/Build. You build KProperty/KReport the same way. -- regards, Jaroslaw Staniek KDE: : A world-wide network of software engineers, artists, writers, translators : and facilitators committed to Free Software development - http://kde.org Calligra Suite: : A graphic art and office suite - http://calligra.org Kexi: : A visual database apps builder - http://calligra.org/kexi Qt Certified Specialist: : http://www.linkedin.com/in/jstaniek _______________________________________________ calligra-devel mailing list calligra-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/calligra-devel
