When moving to the next major release, I always only keep the last minor
release of the previous one. The reason is to keep the mirrors small.
Now users/packagers have no access to previous versions e.g. and links
on previous announcements are now broken. This looks rather
unprofessional.
What we should probably do is to edit the download link then. And
replace it with links to the tag.
Apps such as KDevelop don't seem to do that.
