Thanks for the contribution. It makes sense to contribute this way! However for defaults why not just use what LibreOffice offers by default as a starting point? Visually it's pretty neutral, not reinventing anything, not that colorful (so less chance for bike-shedding), and we'll have more chances for proper round-tripping. I've done quite a few templates in my office life. This is principle of least surprise. I also propose to go for it in every Calligra app. How about having your contribution in the library of Calligra styles? E.g. on kde-files.org in Words templates section http://kde-files.org/index.php?xcontentmode=610 (well for now still it's called KWord in there). For users demanding many rich templates, the Library looks like good choice, plus some defaults distributed with Calligra, plus something we discussed with Boemann at the sprint: Calligra Themes (sets of styles), different approach than templates; there will be blog about this. -- regards / pozdrawiam, Jaroslaw Staniek http://www.linkedin.com/in/jstaniek Kexi & Calligra (kexi-project.org, identi.ca/kexi, calligra-suite.org) KDE Software Development Platform on MS Windows (windows.kde.org) _______________________________________________ calligra-devel mailing list calligra-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/calligra-devel
