After some discussions on how to take care of new people who want to
become contributors, this is the suggestion that was written up:

We are now looking for people to be mentors for the trial-run of this
mentoring program. Inge, Boemann and Boud have so far signed up.
Some examples of time commitments made for signing up with the current
mentoring format for different time spans:
2 weeks of mentoring (10-20+ hours for defining tasks + 4 hours of meetings)
1 month of mentoring (20-30+ hours for defining tasks + 6 hours of meetings)
3 months of mentoring (30-40+ hours for defining tasks + 14 hours of
meetings)
6 months of mentoring (40-80+ hours for defining tasks + 26 hours of
meetings)
12 months of mentoring (80-120+ hours for defining tasks + 55 hours of
meetings)
