When I look at what the students produced last year, I was afraid that it would actually be too much... There are so much sides to doing a proper interaction design for the whole problem of inserting shapes. Just from the top of my head: * organizing, tagging, adding and deleting default shapes in the shape selector * dragging, drag+resizing, creating with a tool, creating from the menu * defaults for all the ways of creating shapes On the other hand, a study done in isolation for just setting defaults might not be that useful. Maybe it's possible for two students to collaborate? I'm willing to help mentoring them, of course -- and to make sure we don't get the usual usability study where one or two sample tasks are executed and described. -- Boudewijn Rempt http://www.valdyas.org, http://www.krita.org, http://www.boudewijnrempt.nl
