Git.kde.org can now be used for SSH connections only. So if you get errors updating today, you'll probably need to switch to git://anongit.kde.org
But actually I recommend using the setup described here: http://community.kde.org/Sysadmin/GitKdeOrgManual#Let_Git_rewrite_URL_prefixes Then you can clone kde:repo and everything is setup correctly.
