Ian,
You seems to tend to use simple string to format command line when
external tool/application is launched. I think this is not the best
approach and it has flaw re filenames/paths with spaces inside.
The better approach would be using lists, but I'm not sure how it will
be compatible with templates in xml/ini files.
Another approach is always quote items which is inserted to command-line.
I have no time to actually dig into this right now, so this mail is just
reminder for future.
