Hey John, I have an order in to DX Eng. I am still happy to collect whatever excess 450 Ohm (1") ladder line I can find.
I am looking to put together a set of classes on building 2 meter antennas. Most of what I want to do is using coat hangers, but the 2m 'Slim Jim' design uses 450 Ohm ladder line. I understand from others that the domestic production of ladder line has stopped. Who would have thought? I would prefer to hold the excess I can find in trust for future classes. new hams, and folks in compromised locations such as dorms, apartments, and townhouses! Have a great day. 73 Dan KJ5IZK On Tue, Sep 23, 2025 at 5:48 PM John Denison via BVARC <[email protected]> wrote: > Why not order 7 feet from DX Engineering and cut off the excess? > > 73 > John Denison > KD5YOU > > On 9/23/2025 12:35 PM, Daniel Poirot via BVARC wrote: > > Howdy y’all, > > > > None at EPO.
