Very nice tribute, Anthony. I remember Robert from the Stir Crazy Net;
soft-spoken voice, always kind and patient, a gentleman.
Prayers for peace and comfort to his family.

Dear fellow Hams and friends,
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our
fellow HAM radio operator, *Robert Cullen, K5TPC*. He passed away
peacefully at home on May 27, 2025.
Robert was a dedicated and passionate ham who spent many years
immersed in the world of amateur radio. He had a special love for
Morse code, which he approached with both enthusiasm and skill. He
especially enjoyed building simple homemade radio receivers and
operating on HF, where his voice and signal became a familiar presence
to many.
Beyond his technical passion, Robert was known for his generosity and
willingness to help others. He gave his time freely to support fellow
Hams, including myself—I would not be where I am today without the
help he and a few others offered me along the way in our beloved hobby.
He also served as a net control operator for the Stir Crazy Net, where
his calm voice and steady presence helped keep things running smoothly
and created a sense of connection for all who checked in.
To those who knew him personally, Robert was not only a brilliant
mind—whom his wife Camille affectionately referred to as her own
“Einstein”—but also a man deeply devoted to his family and his beloved
companion Coco, his Czech German Shepherd and medical therapy dog.
Robert will be deeply missed by:
*
His loving wife, Camille Cullen
*
His two daughters, LeeAnne and Emma Cullen
*
His five grandchildren
*
And, of course, Coco
Robert's presence on the airwaves and in our lives will be profoundly
missed.
Please keep his family in your thoughts during this difficult time. We
will share any memorial service details as they become available.
*73 and SK, Robert.*
Your key may be silent, but your legacy lives on in every signal we send.
Warm regards,
Anthony Morones
