My situation .... I had to rebuild my OS from scratch and loaded Linux UBUNTU 24.xx
I appreciate everyone's suggestions for a logging program that runs in LINUX. Searched for LINUX logger using DUCK DUCK GO Some that came up are simple lists, some are no longer supported, need to compile from source code, etc. Well, my search is over. Below are the ones that were worth really checking out, and the results. N1MM does not run in LINUX DXKEEPER is Windows only NOT1MM requires support packages that do not run in the newest version of UBUNTU LINUX CQR LOG does not run in LINUX versions past 22.xx QLOG runs just fine but is a little awkward in handling any "contest". However, I can make it work since FD accepts a DUPE sheet and does not require cabrillo logs. I can export my log to a CSV file and sort it using EXCEL for all my counting, modes, and dupe checks. It also connects to WSJT-x to automatically log contacts HAM2K runs on an android phone and may be a workable alternative AGAIN, THANKS FOR ALL THE SUGGESTIONS!! I am now going through the same thing to find a suitable SSTV package. Several options, but most will not run in UBUNTU 24.xx or are no longer supported. 73 ! Ralph KE5HDF
