Found it - ran a mvn clean install -Pnative -DskipTests on one of the boxes
from hadoop.git and it did fine -
https://builds.apache.org/job/Hadoop-Common-trunk/1263/ also compiled
everything just fine, so far as I can tell. When's the last time you saw this
problem?
