I have been using this driver to write an RTEMS U-Boot image (~3MB) and a JFFS2 image. Regarding driver issues, the fixes I had to make were not in the driver itself but in the example code functions. One related to erasing an exact sector size and another to handling garbage at the end of the write buffer (4byte alignment). I'm fine with being merged or not.
