>Description:
        With machdep.lidaction=0, when the lid is closed, the display
        becomes black, then when the list is reopened the display is
        restored with the same content as before the lid was closed.
        This state lasts around ~1 second only and the screen "blinks"
        and turns almost black.

        In a very dark gray, one can see the dmesg lines from before
        inteldrm switched to graphic mode, which suggests that the
        screen is now in text mode. The last line is:

        inteldrm0: 1024x768, 32bpp

        The backlight is still on (the screen is slightly illuminated
        and brightness can be adjusted).

        Interestingly, if the machine is suspended then resumed, the
        screen is switched back to graphic mode and works again.

        The problem doesn't occur if the interdrm driver is disabled.

        Set machdep.lidaction=0. Close lid. Open lid.
