Hello, The test with /dev/null failure is explained by MinGW on MSYS mapping to NUL (as explained by Eli in another thread).
Could you please, Eli, check whether the other test, split_nocopying_split_dev_null in formatting fails or not with mingw on MSYS, if possible with the release/7.1 branch?
