Good morning, I am studying on "Linux Kernel programming" by K.N.Billimoria but I have to stop my learning because of the failure to build the Kernel image running make command (v.4.3 on x86_64_pc_linux_gnu) with .config written by $ make LSMOD= /tmp/lsmod.now localmodconfig.
You can see the error messages in the attached file (Linux-5.10.183) I had analogous messages starting by Kernel source Linux-6.1.12 and processing .config written by $ cp /boot/config-5.19.0-42-generic and $ make LSMOD= /tmp/lsmod.now localmodconfig followed by little changes running menuconfig UI.
