Follow-up Comment #2, bug #63248 (project make):
Oddly I cannot reproduce this problem on my system; apparently my SIGPIPE is
set to IGN always. I've looked high and low for something that is configured
to do this and can find nothing. But, the only way I can reproduce this issue
is to explicitly change the make code to set SIGPIPE to SIG_DFL, then I get
the failure to happen.
Anyway this change looks good to me so I applied it, thanks Dmitry!
