Summary: Most output missing when building with --output-sync Project: make Submitted by: None Submitted on: Tue 17 Sep 2019 02:34:11 PM UTC Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: Bug Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Component Version: 4.2.1 Operating System: POSIX-Based Fixed Release: None Triage Status: None _______________________________________________________ Details: I'm compiling OpenWRT in parallel. However if I add a compile error to a package and use the output-sync option, there is a ton of output missing. With unbuffered output, there are six times as many lines in the output as with --output-sync, and the output is four times the size. So with --output-sync there is a ton of output missing, including the error message, and the entire package it's in. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?56914> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-make mailing list Bug-make@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-make
