Details:
Over the years, I keep re-patching GNU make with this useful feature, as some
of the makefiles we use at work are quite twisty, so it is hard to see where a
variable is defined/redefined/over-defined/define-ignored etc. It seems this
would be handy for the larger community, too.
The simple patch here adds another flag, A (for Assignments), and results in
output from the print_variable() function.
This will be enabled by -d or --debug=a with this patch, when one uses -d to
turn on all possible debugging.
