Follow-up Comment #5, bug #48037 (project make):
The build_w32.bat script exists so that GNU Make could be easily built
natively on Windows without all the development environment being available
(since Make is an essential part of that environment).
Anyway, feel free to submit patches for building MinGW Make using the Posix
configury stuff. If it looks reasonably clean, I will push them.
