My concern is as follows:
Using include blah.d when there is a build rule for blah.d causes the
following:
1. a warning that blah.d is missing
2. execution of rule to build blah.d
a. on success, continue working
b. on failure, display error and terminate
Using -include blah.d when there is a build rule for blah.d causes the
following:
1. no warning that blah.d is missing
2. execution of rule to build blah.d
a. on success, continue working
b. on failure, display error and continue working
What I need is:
1. no warning that blah.d is missing
2. same functionality as include blah.d, ie display error and terminate of
failure
Unless I am missing something in the manual, this is not provided with make.
What are my options here?
